The College of Idaho invites applications and recommendations for an Assistant Football Coach to
join our competitive NAIA athletics program.
As a member of the athletics team, this position supports
the objectives of the head coach in recruiting, training, and developing the student-athletes into a
cohesive team with good academic standards, character, and sportsmanship.
The Assistant Football Coach assists in the coordination and administration of the football program.
They will assist in talent recruitment building and maintaining good relationships with student-
athletes, parents, and coaches.
They will assist in the strategies and game plans, observe the
performance of, and instruct student-athletes.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in physical education, recreation, health or a
related field.
Demonstrated success in recruitment, and the ability to coach, lead, and teach on and off
the field while adhering to NAIA guidelines and performance standards.
This position requires the
ability to travel, and work evenings and weekends as required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as of the expected hire date and
throughout the date of their employment without sponsorship from The College of Idaho.
A current
valid driver’s license is also required and candidates must be vehicle insurable.
