Be sure to check out the details of our total rewards package on our company careers page! Overview: The Admissions Advisor is responsible for administering several aspects of the college recruiting and admissions process.
The Admissions Advisor is the main point of contact for prospective students and their families.
They are ultimately responsible for the movement of prospective students through each stage of the admissions funnel.
They uphold an exceptional standard of customer service.
This position will have a heavy emphasis on the recruitment of NLC students.
*HYBRID SCHEDULE (COMBINATION OF OFFICE AND REMOTE WORK).
*CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE LOCAL TO IDAHO CAMPUS.
*UP TO 10% TRAVEL REQUIREMENT WITH THIS ROLE.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:: Provide a superior professional experience to each prospective student and their family and maintain a positive relationship of trust throughout each stage of the admissions funnel.
Achieves this level of student experience by mastering the effective use of all student communication channels.
Manages a recruitment caseload of prospective students and guides them through the admissions process.
Achieves established recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Assists with developing and implementing ethical and proven recruitment strategies to educate, motivate and guide prospective students through their own decision-making process to attend NLC.
Conducts structured and informative admissions interviews to assess students’ needs and aspirations.
Offers guidance and support to ensure students’ fit and preparedness.
Collaborates closely with the admissions team and other departments to streamline processes, ensure consistent communication, and facilitate a cohesive admissions experience.
Participates in regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on institutional policies, program updates, and best practices in admissions.
Maintains subject matter expert level knowledge of NLC’s ELP catalogs.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records on all lead, applicant and enrolled student data and communication in accordance with NLC’s established record keeping policy within the admissions management system.
Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory and accreditation standards and adheres to the Admissions Code of Conduct.
Required Education & Experience:: Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in admissions-related, recruitment, or customer service role.
Preferred Qualifications/ Attributes: Experience in multi-channel communication including phone, email, text, chat, and social media messaging.
Familiarity with CRM software and database management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of educational programs and admissions recruitment practices.
A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for education.
Salary: $23.
57 - $26.
