Vintage 1997 PRS CE24 Flamed Maple Top Whale Blue - $1,750 (Nampa)

Vintage 1997 PRS CE24 Flamed Maple Top Whale Blue (now gorgeously faded) I have owned this guitar for many, many years.
It shows some light signs of natural wear (see photos), which I find to be extremely appealing.
This guitar is set up perfectly and is the best playing and sounding guitar I have ever played.
In fact, I have personally owned and put this guitar up against many, many guitars over the years.

including an older first generation PRS CE24 which I sold immediately after comparing the two.
This guitar is that special (one of those "one in a million guitars") and has a full, rich tone that it is truly exceptional.
Other than being professionally set up, this guitar is all original except two minor and totally reversible things: 1) I have swapped the original pickup bezels with some custom made maple wood bezels.
I still have the original bezels.
2) I have swapped the pickup selector knob with one that made much more sense to me (chicken head style).
I still have the original knob.
I also still have the original stainless steel whammy bar and truss rod adjustment tool.
The hard case is also original.
It's time to let someone from the next generation of guitar players enjoy this gem.
