This has only been used in a smoke-free recording studio.
All functions are working correctly, including the Firewire digital interface.
I am the second owner.
The ONYX pre-amps are clean and accurate.
You can record 16 tracks to a Firewire-equipped computer.
I used it with a 2010 Power Mac, which could easily record 16 tracks at once.
I am selling it because the old Mac died and the new Mac doesn't have a Firewire port.
I could provide Adobe Acrobat copies of all the documentation from Mackie for this unit.
Additionally, I will throw in a half-dozen Firewire cables and adapters that connect Firewire to a computer, see the photos.
Will allow testing of the unit.
