Responsibilities Provide accurate health and nutritional information without prescribing specific products, therapies, or attempting to diagnose health conditions Become knowledgeable in all wellness products offered; find creative ways to merchandise items Perform inventories, regularly work back-stock to get product out onto floor shelves and check-in shipments Process special orders, stock shelves, check expiration dates, rotate products, and properly back-stock Keep updated on department trends to ensure the Co-op is on the cutting edge of the market Ensure sufficient stock, attractive, accurate point-of-sale signage and eye-catching product displays Serve every customer in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner; anticipate their needs Learn and incorporate the Co-op’s Core Values into your workday Cultivate respectful relationships, communicate clearly and encourage teamwork Requirements Requires experience or specific knowledge of supplements, skin care and natural healing Retail or stocking experience, a plus Familiarity with natural foods and products Desire to provide exceptional customer service Ability to build relationship, learn quickly, and use strong interpersonal skills Comprehend simple instructions, memos, and training materials Maintain regular and punctual attendance, with or without reasonable accommodation Comply with all departmental policies and procedures Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department Consistently be at work and on time Physical Demands and Working Environment: The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
