Overview: Cashiers are front line team members who have direct contact with our guests.
You must be able to perform a multitude of tasks throughout the day.
A typical day will include setting up for service, directing guests, collecting payment of goods accurately, following cash handling procedures and closing duties.
Responsibilities: Attend new hire, department and company orientation prior to beginning work in the department.
Help Maintain a positive guest experience.
Smile, be helpful and friendly while providing quick and accurate service Report to work on time and in a clean and proper uniform.
Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions or requests Understand how this job function enhances guest satisfaction and/or increases the level of guest service Maintain a positive working relationship with other departments Responsible for the adherence and enforcement of policies and procedures of the department and the resort.
Report any situations potentially hazardous to the safety of the guests and the employees to the Manager on duty Maintain clean workstations before, during and at the end of the shift Fill out requisition and verify you have received everything that is needed to get through your shift.
If items are missing or 86’d immediately notify fellow employees and manager on duty.
Responsible for following the Resorts cash handling policies and procedures Serve alcoholic beverages only within the limits of the Resorts liquor license and the State Laws of Idaho.
This will include but is not limited to, the verifying of proper identification, and the review of patrons proper consumption.
Responsible for Calculating and returning change for cash transactions Responsible for Redeeming wooden nickels, employee discounts and coupons Making sure that opening and closing procedures are complete on a daily basis.
Clearing tables and making sure the general site is clear of debris (this includes common areas such as the village lobby) Communicate with your team members about 86* items, ordering needs etc.
Responsible for the service of food and beverages courteously and professionally to the Resort guests in a timely manner Responsible for the knowledge of the current food and beverage choices available Responsible for informing guests of daily specials while also taking the opportunity to upsell Be attentive to the guests in the restaurant for any needs that they may require Properly clean the bar during and at the end of the shift, putting all supplies away in their proper location.
Perform all other related duties as assigned or required by the Outlets Manager or Manger on Duty.
Qualifications: Flexibility.
Hospitality is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours; our coffee-loving guests are early risers so you must be too! Awesome Memory.
Your ability to memorize drink recipes and remember guest names will help you stand out during your interview! People Person.
